Our Restaurant is a 'New to Market' Fine Dining Restaurant offering the finest Chinese Cuisine.
Redwall 1939 was created by Chairman Mao's Executive Chef 'Cheng Ruming'
Since 1992, Cheng's grandson 'Liu Jian' has learnt his grandfathers fine art for creating Chinese Dishes of utter splendour, which will now be served at Redwall 1939 in the Rose Gardens of Parnell. Auckland.
To assist Liu Jian in the opening of this fine restaurant we require:
A Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a confident and charismatic restaurant manager who is passionate about managing the business whilst delivering excellence to our discerning guests.
This will be a hands-on role to enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities for this role:
Hold a current LCQ certificate and Managers Certificate.
Confidence to lead a team during busy service periods
Able to manage the operations of the restaurant
Ensure guests are provided with 'the best dining experience' and satisfaction
Be good in customer service
Minimum 3 years’ experience
This position requires some key skills & experience:
A passion for service delivery and the Hospitality Industry
An appreciation for the finer details and the highest standards
Previous experience working in a similar fine dining establishment
Impeccable personal grooming
Knowledge and experience with Hospitality Management systems
Strong and effective communication skills
Ability to train and lead a team
Ability to work accurately in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Exceptional organisational skills
Flexibility and maturity in approach
Current LCQ & GM's Certificate
Management experience in premium high volume restaurants
Specific experience managing bar operations and leading a small team
Experience managing stock and GP's, dealing with suppliers and using POS systems
Excellent knowledge of wines both NZ and international
all applicants must be eligible to work in NZ and should have new Zealand residency or a valid work visa.
Positions start from beginning of July 2018
