Nikau is an award winning café based in central Wellington. The café is situated in the Civic Square next to the Wellington City Art Gallery, and serves simple, stylish, and authentic food, using top quality ingredients. Having been open for almost two decades, the café is a favourite amongst the locals.
Due to Nikau’s relentless success, we are looking for an experienced barista who is passionate about producing high quality coffee and superb customer experiences. Part-time and full-time position available.
We are looking for someone who:
-Has at least 2 years experience in the hospitality industry, and at least one year experience working as a barista.
-Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
-Has a cheerful and friendly personality
-Has a passion for working with people and for the hospitality industry in general
-Is enthusiastic and hardworking
-Strives for excellence
-Enjoys being part of a team
-Is flexible in terms of their availability
-Has the ability to multitask
