About the role

Copthorne Hotel & Apartments Lakeview Queenstown  has an opportunity for an experienced   Housekeeping Supervisor to join their senior team. We are seeking an individual who has proven experience and energy to motivate a team of very competent housekeepers who take pride in their work.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Training and supervision of Housekeeping team members
  • Relief/on call housekeeping with extra shifts possible
  • Complete allocated task assignments
  • Ensure room allocations are complete in a timely, efficient and effective manner
  • Perform routine inspections of all checked out and occupied rooms, service areas and corridors
  • Ensure effective communication with Front Office in relation to room changes, arrivals and departures

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous Housekeeping Supervisory experience
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven experience in staff rostering, training and motivating a team
  • Good understanding of Housekeeping budgeting
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
