About the business and the role
Our company provides day trips from Queenstown and Auckland to the most popular tourist attractions and long tours around the country in small groups. We are looking for a head guide to lead our team in Queenstown and represent our brand down here while also guide some days yourself. We have 12 seater minibuses and 7 seater SUV's to provide an amazing experience to our customers while having fun themselves. We are a rapidly growing company that focuses on our staff having development opportunities and job satisfaction. We offer over market rates with flexible working.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Lead Queenstown team
Train guides and over see tour quality assurance
Represent our brand in Queenstown to hotels and suppliers driving sales.
Report to head office about issues and vehicles.
Guide for at least 2 days per week
Safely picking up and transporting customers to the tourist attractions and back.
Guiding them through the trip and providing commentary about the area, New Zealand and our culture etc.
Guiding customers through attractions where needed.
Ensuring that our customers have an amazing trip that is carefree and fun.
Keeping vehicle clean and undamaged.
Collecting tour payments from customers.
Skills and experience
Guiding and Management experience or ready to take the leap.

Outgoing and friendly person that will engage with our guests and go the extra mile to make their day.
Currently has a Passenger Licence or in the process of obtaining one.
Clean full driving licence.
Extensive Knowledge about New Zealand and it's culture.
Excellent customer service skills.
High level of English.
Excellent driving skills and able to drive while providing commentary and entertaining customers.
