Job tasks and responsibilities
The Operations Manager will take responsibility for the day to day operation of the business, rostering and handling of any employment issues, assisting in new menu preparation and liaising with business contacts. Key focuses include maintaining excellent cafe standards, fostering a positive working environment and providing efficient & friendly customer service. You will have café and food preparation experience as well as a proven record managing staff.
Skills and experience
* Passionate about providing exceptional Customer Service
* Excellent food, wine & coffee making skills
* Kitchen experience would be an advantage
* Proven experience in leading a successful team by example
* Administration skills - rostering, correspondence, negotiation, & budget control
* Menu planning
* Flexibility to work any day of the week on rostered shifts
* Actively involved to achieve profitability and KPI targets
* HR Management experience
* Strategic planning, organisational & time management skills
* Property management & maintenance
* Have a clear speaking voice
* Current General Manager's Certificate (NZ)
