This role will manage Sales at one of the Viaducts longest standing venues, Degree, who are in need of a target motivated Sales & Events Coordinator with a winning ethos to drive booking sales in functions and events.
You will be a top performer in your industry and will be excited by new and daring experiences in the hospitality scene, meaning you will naturally sell our spaces by engaging clients and building rapport and relationships.
Meeting and exceeding targets will be something you will thrive on. Winning, achieving goals and being rewarded for them will be part of your overall objective. You will be encouraged to unleash your charming nature, capturing clients ranging from white-collared CBD natives to nightlife revelers.
A sense of humour combined with a desire to succeed will see you land this role with a forward-thinking group. You will also be a savvy player with the following on your CV;
- Hotel and/or function and event experience, preferably within sales and/or marketing.
- Experience in telesales and/or face to face sales
- Ability to develop key accounts and target new business for our venues, as well as maintain existing accounts
A typical week for you might look like this;
- Relationship building with clients whilst winning new ones
- Ensuring their functions run flawlessly
- Maintaining and growing databases
- Producing sales reports
- Input on menu's and marketing material
