About the business
Chateau Tongariro Hotel is seeking two Commis Chefs, reporting to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef, this position involves playing a responsible role in the kitchen operation. You will be required to utilize your experience in ensuring the best standards in kitchen operations are undertaken.
About the role
- Ensuring the preparation and cooking of Chateau Tongariro food is up to the highest standard.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness to the highest standard
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Assist in training prep hands and apprentices
