Nestled in a secluded 2,500 acres of 800-year old native forest, award-winning Treetops Lodge & Estate 30 minutes from Rotorua is a sanctuary and retreat of breathtaking terrain offering the ultimate in world-class accommodation and adventure.
We have two roles available which would suit a couple full-time Fixed Term starting 1st October through to March 2019.
We require someone who has experience with guest activities ie. Fishing and can share valuable knowledge to both educate and entertain our visitors or flexible to do mowing. No day will be the same - you need to be hardworking, reliable, physically fit, flexible with your availability and have a reliable means of transport to get to and from work.
The second role is housekeeping, which is to ensure excellence in the presentation of all villas and public areas along with detailed outstanding housekeeping service conducted in a professional, warm, friendly and positive manner.
Accommodation on-site is available.
Your primary duties for the roles will be:
- Ensuring our guest activity experience is memorable
- Demonstrating excellent communication and listening skills
- Having an eye for detail, a great attitude and enjoy working in a team
- Your enjoyment on fly fishing, guiding on the estate, archery, mountain biking, horse riding, managing the 70km of hiking and biking tracks, track maintenance, mowing lawns, water blasting, cleaning cars etc
- Housekeeping
- Be able to work a 40-hour week over a 7-day roster
- A safety-first attitude
