About the business
Verve Cafe is a central Wellington Cafe based on Lambton Quay. Our group has multiple sites and there is plenty of opportunities to the successful candidate. This person must have experience and the skills to help us maintain and grow a fun and busy cafe while the current Manager is away on Parental Leave.
About the role
This role is Monday - Friday (our busiest days) and the site is well established with great systems and a fantastic team. Hard to imagine a better job! This is a fixed term contract for 13 months, but has the potential to extend.
The position will start at the end of August / beginning of September allowing time to come up to speed before the manager finishes in late October. You will be working along side the current and very capable Assistant Manager to run the team and handle the day to day running of the cafe.
This person must have experience in managing a cafe at least at an Assistant Managers position. You must be hardworking, outgoing, reliable and detail focused. We are after someone who is serious about a career in hospitality and has the ambition and work ethic to match.
