In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of corporate finance activities within the two organisations we support. Your financial expertise, understanding of relevant finance related legislation and its implications for best practice will be called on daily to achieve your accountabilities in the role, along with your skills and experience in monitoring, evaluating and enhancing financial performance.
As a key contributor who supports the CFO in providing strategic financial advice and support to the senior leadership teams, your pragmatic, future-focused and astute financial skills and experience will be vital to your success. Your wealth of experience will ensure you provide effective support when assisting the CFO with financial risk management and compliance systems and practices.
Your outstanding relationship management and networking skills will be fundamental attributes that you possess. This will be coupled with your experience in managing and motivating high performing teams that supports delivery of results, enhancing service delivery and providing a culture and environment that supports your team to be the best they can be.
It goes without saying, you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where your organisational and planning expertise will be one of your greatest assets.
If you are a Chartered Accountant, whose communication skills are second to none and where preparing of reports and conveying financial management in a manner that suits your audience is second nature, we looking forward to hearing from you.
Salary range: $128,161 - $192,241 circa.

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold NZ Permanent Residence or hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
