Cordis, Auckland is now looking for a part time Stewarding Supervisor to join our experienced Stewards team. This department is responsible for the cleanliness of our Kitchen, Food & Beverage outlets and Staff Cafeteria.
The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 2-3 shifts per week (availability on the weekend is essential), with the possibility to increase hours during peak periods.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Running of shifts to ensure as a team the cleanliness of our Kitchen, Food & Beverage outlets and Staff Cafeteria is maintained and to standard.
- Assist in developing the team with their career and to be Better Every Day
- Maintain hygienic and sanitary conditions in all food preparation areas
- Ensure that all cleaning is carried out in accordance to Food Hygiene Regulations and the appropriate Health and Safety Legislation
- Monitor the storage and maintenance of all chinaware, glassware, silverware, kitchen hardware and other operational related items
- Ensure that all hazardous chemicals and materials are stored in a secure environment
Skills & Experience
- Experience in as a kitchen hand or a steward looking to take he next step in your career or a previous experience in a similar role
- Strong time management, communication and problem solving skills
- Flexibility and availability in working hours over the weekends is essential.
- Impeccable presentation and grooming
- NZ permanent residency or NZ/Australia citizenship, or a current New Zealand work visa valid for at least 12 months
