Looking for Sous Chef and Demi Chefs – Pre Opening Team
An exciting opportunity to be part of the pre-opening team of the newly built The Sebel Auckland Manukau (Accor Hotels) based in Manukau CBD. The hotel, scheduled to open in the third quarter of the year, is looking for Full Time experienced Sous Chef & Demi Chefs
Ora Bistro is a 58 seater restaurant offering buffet breakfast, A la Carte Lunch & Dinner menu with 24 hrs room service to inhouse hotel guests.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role within an upmarket restaurant / hotel environment.
- A passion for guest engagement
- Ability to demonstrate great organizational and management skills
- Assist the head chef with menu design and planning
- Maintain a clean & safe work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Available to work rostered shifts including weekends & public holidays.
- An excellent command of the English language with strong communication
- Full working rights for New Zealand required (New Zealand Permanent Residency or Citizenship)
