One of Christchurch's leading attractions, the Christchurch Gondola, is looking for an ENTHUSIASTIC, FRIENDLY, HARD WORKING, EXPERIENCED and HANDS-ON Café Manager to lead our Red Rock Café.

We operate 364 days of the year so the successful applicant must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays. This role is a Thursday to Monday (incl) roster.

On a busy day our café can serve over 1,000 customers and can make up to 400 coffees!!! 

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

-       A minimum of 2 years café management experience is essential, including experience with P&L accounts, cost of goods, wage budgets, staff management, staff hiring, conflict resolution, health and safety and staff rostering.

-       Experienced Barista – preferred but not essential.

-       Duty Managers Certificate essential.

-       Committed to outstanding customer service.

-       A team player who is able to show initiative.

-       Reliable, punctual, creative and flexible.

-       Have exceptional cash handling, till experience and computer skills.

-       The ability to make good decisions under pressure.
