As a Chef you will be working towards cooking, developing and maintaining consistent standards in all aspects of kitchen operations.
We are looking for experienced innovative and passionate team players with strong communication skills. Must have immaculate presentation at all times.
This role is based around cooking on the line & supporting the executive and sous chefs in managing the kitchen and developing junior members of the team, .
In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience as Junior Sous Chef or be a really strong CDP who is ready to make the step up. Seasonality , freshness and flavours be the focal thinking with an apt understanding of dietary requirements.
This will involve being a strong team player who works well in a challenging environment, communicates effectively to all team members.
you will be responsible for:
- Setting a positive example as a team player
- Take responsibility for consistency in food quality, presentation and production.
- Providing leaderswhip and directions to the kitchen operation and responsible for kitchens/sections as designated.
- Delegate/perform duties and responsibilities to ensure service demands are met.
- Maintain excellent presentation standards
- Ensure complete knowledge of policy and procedures as relates to the kitchens and outlets
- You will assist in other sections or kitchens of the group as required which includes High Brook Drive Conference Centre and the Landmark Tavern in Panmure
- Ensuring safe food hygiene practices are followed as per the food control plan.
