Nestled at the foot of Aoraki Mount Cook and in the heart of Aoraki Mount Cook National Park,
The Hermitage Hotel and Mount Cook Lodge & Motels are truly unique places to live, work and play.
All our positions are located within Aoraki Mt Cook Alpine Village.
Our range of accommodation choices, bars and restaurants are complemented by a retail store, the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre, Big Sky Stargazing, Glacier Tours, Guided Trekking, and Tasman Valley 4WD, all combining to create unforgettable memories for our guests.
We are currently looking to add to our team, either just for the season or more permanent roles in the following positions:

- Food Trades Assistants / Cooks & Chefs Assistants
- Kitchen Stewards
- Operations Supervisor (Tourism)
- Porters – Hermitage / Mt Cook Lodge & Motels
- Receptionist – Hermitage (Japanese Speaking)
- Receptionist – Mt Cook Lodge & Motels
- Room Attendants
- Outdoor Adventure Guide / Guest Services
- Assistant Manager – Mt Cook Lodge / Chamois Bar & Grill
- Assistant Trekking Manager
- Food & Beverage Attendants – Mt Cook Lodge & Motels
- Food & Beverage Attendants - Hermitage
- Skipper / Guide - Glacier Explorers
- Driver / Guide – Glacier Explorers
- Trekking Guide - Japanese Speaking
- Trekking Supervisor - Japanese Speaking

Other information:
- There are both permanent and seasonal roles available.
- As part of our unique lifestyle package, accommodation is provided with weekly board & lodgings rates including meals and power.
- Due to the idyllic, isolated location of Mt Cook, you will need to be comfortable working and living in a remote location.
