TE PAPA HOSPITALITY SUPERVISOR - VENUES (CASUAL)

Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors.  ICON Venues is an operational function of the Commercial Directorate of Te Papa, which operates venues in Te Papa, Circa Theatre and Parliament.

The ICON Venues team at Te Papa are now seeking a customer and service focused hospitality team leader for the role of Hospitality Supervisor at our Te Papa operations, working on a casual ‘as and when required' basis.  Ideally we are seeking candidates with great team leadership and hospitality service skills, attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to make effective operational decisions. 

Key candidate attributes include;

• A minimum of 2 years restaurant or venues floor operational experience
• Well-rounded food and beverage hospitality skills, including food and bar/barista experience
• Previous experience working in a high volume operation
• A passion for customer service and providing a high standard of service at all times
• The ability to guide and motivate a team
• Attention to detail and the ability to oversee service delivery of small to large size events from a food and beverage service perspective
• Must have a Managers Certificate

We operate 7 days a week therefore your flexibility to work over a 7 day roster including Public Holidays and weekend work are essential criteria for suitability. The work across our operation is busy, fast paced and in a fantastic, friendly team environment, so come join us!
