Reporting to the Regional Manager Sales NZ/AU the Auckland Airport & Cargo Manageris responsible for providing a leadership role to coordinate and direct Samoa Airways’ ground and cargo operations at Auckland Airport with the Airline’s approved service providers, for the safe and efficient handling of the Airline’s aircraft and cargo operations, in accordance with the Airline’s approved Ground Operations Manual and Company policies and government regulations.  These activities include but not limited to passenger services, aircraft handling, ramp services, inflight services and cargo operations.

The position requires the right person with following key compentecies to perform in the role successfully:

• A sound knowledge and understanding of airline reservations and ticketing processes
• A strong focus on sales and customer service
• Excellent problem solving, risk management and public relation shills
• Ability to understand and communication effectively with Samoa Airways’ primary market segments: VFR/IT
• Excellent administrative and reporting skills and must be computer literate
• Minimum 5 years airline experience an added advantage
• Applicants must be a NZ citizen or legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
