We are a very busy central Rotorua Hotel looking for a professional, motivated and skilled person to fill this position.
As the Front Office Manager, your main responsibility is to oversee the front office operation to ensure all standards are maintained, profitability is maximised and customer needs are exceeded.
This role will require the successful candidate to have:
- Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or min 3 years as a Duty Manager in a large 3-5 star Hotel environment.
- Knowledge of Opera, PMS and advanced computer skills.
- Current LCQ and Managers certificate.
- Solid Rooms Division and Reservations knowledge.
- Experience in performance reviews and staff development.
- Proven leadership and staff management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and immaculate personal grooming.
Duties / Responsibilities include:
- Responsible and accountable for meeting budgeted costs relating to Front Office.
- Continually reviewing and updating standard operating procedures and ensure those procedures are adhered to by all personnel.
- Provide guidance, training and support to the front office team.
- Managing customer relations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure repeat business.
- Monitor guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results
- Be aware and enforce the liquor licensing laws and host responsibilities.
