THE COMPANY
This is a classic manufacturing environment and the business is continuing to go through change and evolve. The GM is energetic and ambitious and wants a Finance Manager with a similar profile who is not content with just reporting the numbers, but will proactively look at opportunities to grow and develop the business.

THE ROLE
Specifically designed for someone wishing to begin their financial management career, this is a hands-on role incorporating all aspects of financial and management reporting including monthly reporting, budgeting & forecasting, external reporting, working capital management, tax and project work. The scope of activities also includes analysis of results and digging below the numbers to not just support but lead the GM on running the business. There is a genuine opportunity to focus on process improvements such as a new ERP implementation and data cleansing.

THE PERSON
The role has one direct report (with further reports likely in the near future as the business grows) and would be perfect for someone who has a solid background in commercial accounting with a CA (or equivalent) qualification. An analytical mind and the energy to want to make a difference is key here. This organisation has a high performance culture and we are seeking a bright, outgoing and articulate individual with the ambition to propel their career during the next few years.

THE OPPORTUNITY
