1. Preparation of all Indian and authentic Indian cuisines as required by Management
2. Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays
3. Controlling the food preparation process and any other relative activities
4. Assist the Head Chef in changing menus timely when required as per the demand and other duties
5. Introducing new dishes to the menu with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
6. Approving and “polishing” dishes before they reach the customer
7. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
8. Cleaning the kitchen and storage area and make sure about health and safety of customer and staff
9. Complete work in timely manner and ensure all cooking procedures are efficient and economical
10. Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
11. Regular stock rotation is maintained
12. Arrange for repairs when necessary
13. Remedy any problems or defects
14. Check and monitor food wastage and make necessary measures to minimize and timely inform Head Chef or Management about it
15. Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
