We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our management team.
This hands-on position is suitable for an energetic, positive and enthusiastic customer orientated person looking for a challenging and rewarding position in the hospitality industry. You must possess a "can do attitude" and the ability to manage a high traffic Café.
Reporting to the Cafe Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing the Cafe on the Managers days off
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Implementing and promoting high standards of service to increase customer satisfaction.
- Implementing operational standards to increase profitability
- Managing store budgets (stock, costs and labour)
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 3 years relevant hospitality management experience in a café and/or restaurant
- Exceptional customer service skills
- People management skills : including training and developing staff
- Experience with cost control: food and labour costs
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
- The ability to lead and motivate a team
- Enthusiasm and flexibility
Previous proven experience in hospitality is essential
