Cafe Anatolia is a growing Turkish restaurant chain with over 12 branches throughout the North Island. It has a fine reputation for healthy, fresh and authentic cuisine made to order for our customers.

Our Te Awamutu team is looking for a Customer Service Representative to work on a part time basis. Although no previous experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have previous customer service or kitchen hand experience.

The role would be suited to a high school student, who has the availability to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings as well as some weekend work. The position offers approximately 8-12 hours per week.

We are looking for a keen, committed and reliable individual that is either looking for a long-term opportunity in hospitality or who wants to develop their great customer service skills.

As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

• Taking customer orders and serving food
• Cash handling and accurately operating the point of sale
• Clearing tables, washing dishes, mopping and general cleanliness of the branch
• Serving on the salad bar
• Assisting with food preparation
• Making beverages to order
• Compliance with the Food Control Plan

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that:

• they can consistently deliver high levels of customer service
• they are reliable, flexible and have a willingness to learn
• they have a passion for serving the public and take pride in their work
• they work well amongst a small team
• they are able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
