Cafe Anatolia is a growing Turkish restaurant chain with over 12 branches throughout the North Island. It has a fine reputation for healthy, fresh and authentic cuisine made to order for our customers.
Our Masterton team are looking for 2 part time Kitchen Assistants/Customer Service Representatives.
Although experience is not essential, preference will be given to candidates who have previous kitchen hand or customer service experience.
We are looking for keen, committed and reliable individuals that are either looking for long-term opportunities in hospitality or who want to develop their great customer service skills.
These are permanent, part time positions offering a minimum of 8 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work one day during the weekend and be flexible with shifts during the week. We anticipate these roles will predominately be kitchen based, with some front of house duties.
Please note, one of these positions is suitable for a high school student. The other role will need to be able to work weekday lunch shifts as well as evenings and weekends.
As a Kitchen Assistant/Customer Service Representative your responsibilities will include:
- Clearing tables, washing dishes, mopping and general cleanliness of the branch
- Taking customer orders and serving food
- Cash handling and accurately operating the point of sale
- Assisting with food preparation
- Compliance with the Food Control Plan
Candidates must be able to demonstrate that:

- they are reliable, flexible and have a willingness to learn
- they take pride in their work
- they work well amongst a small team
- they are able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
