If you are looking for a fantastic role with a great company, then the Operations Team have an opportunity for you. We are looking for our next Area Manager to support Nando’s New Zealand through providing exceptional support and leadership to a portfolio of restaurants throughout the country.

We are looking for a people focused professional, who is ready to take the next step in their career. We want you to lead the way through restaurant management engagement. You will have great attention detail and help improve our day to day operating by striving to run restaurants brilliantly. You must have experience in Multi site Management and a history of building quality relationships within the organization and your portfolio of restaurants. You get things done, you’re an operator. However you know that how you get results is as important as the result’s themselves and never at the expense of your people.

You will be able to problem solve and you will be instrumental in supporting restaurant operations. Most importantly, you will bring your personality to work, you know how to have fun,  love being part of a team and live the Nando’s values every day.

Requirements/Selection criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Multisite Manager, Area Manager, BDM, Relationship manager or similar vocation.
• A Proven track record in the industry as well as a successful personal profile
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proven track record of building and developing high performing teams, with the ability to lead, persuade and influence your team to deliver mutually beneficial business outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This Proven ability of developing relationships is built on trust; with an outcome of working together for a common goal
• Demonstrated ability to set targets and actively manage results to deliver against targets.
• Ability to think outside the square to deliver business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and implement change at all levels.
• Confidence and assertiveness, with strong decision-making capability.
• Strong Microsoft Office Capability
