About the role:
We are looking for a professional and dedicated Full Time Chef de Partie to join our fast paced kitchen brigade. This is an exciting role for you to take command of your fellow chefs to deliver our guests an exceptional and personalised experience in our Hectors Restaurant. You’ll have passion to push culinary boundaries and ability to bring ideas to the table that really set you apart. Whether you’re preparing food, improving our menu or simply maintaining our reputation, no task is too big or too small.
Key skills and qualifications required for this role:
- Four to five star hotels or other reputable restaurants is advantageous
- Or strong and relevant experience as a Demi Chef; ready to take the next step in your career
- Should have experience in saucier, entremet and larder
- Candidates must hold a formal Chef Qualifications
- Proven ability to handle pressure and work fast on multiple sections along with a good understanding of food control plans
- Be self-driven, able to manage a team and help training of junior staff
- Hold the current working rights to work in New Zealand
