We require an outstanding team player to join our Front Office team in Auckland's newest 5-star hotel.

The Hotel Grand Windsor (an MGallery by Sofitel hotel) is ideally situated in the heart of Auckland Central on the lower Queen Street upmarket precinct featuring 79 elegantly appointed rooms and suites.

You will have a sincere passion to deliver luxury service, while having outstanding knowledge and awareness of guest requirements. You will impart your professional hospitality knowledge to all members of the Front Office team, growing each individual to strengthen the consistency of service delivery.

Ensure the front office and entire hotel are operating at their maximum efficiency and productivity consistently.

Manage the legal and operational requirements in the absence of the Front Office manager and General Manager

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of solid experience in a similar role within a 5 star hotel environment
  • An excellent command of English language.
  • New Zealand citizenship, residency or a current valid work permit.
  • Good understanding of the legislation regarding of the current Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety NZ Licencing laws, NZ Employment laws.
  • A current General Manager's Certificate.
  • A very high level of attention to detail as well as exemplary leadership skills.
  • Immaculate personal presentation and grooming standards.
