Hotel Receptionist – Part time
Ventura Inn & Suites Hamilton offers great value rooms and guest amenities in central Hamilton.
We're looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team. Your role is to help with check-outs, check-ins, reservations and general guest enquiries.
We're looking for a team member who is:
- Experienced dealing directly with customers on the phone and face-to-face
- Charming, organised and helpful
- Unflappable - you stay calm even when it's very busy
- Confident dealing with any situation
- Full of common sense and initiative
As the "face" of our hotel you'll need to have a great personality and be totally committed to providing excellent customer service. A hospitality background and experience using hotel computer systems is preferred, however full training will be provided.
This is a permanent part-time position with four shifts per week. (approx 20 hours per week). One of the shifts is a night audit and applicants must be happy to work sole charge from 11pm till 7am. Flexibility to cover additional shifts for staff on leave would be an advantage.
