Dida's Wine Lounge established in Jervois Road, Ponsonby for the last twelve years, and are proudly owned by Glengarry Wines, New Zealand's oldest Fine Wine Retailer. We are looking for a full time Commis Chef /Tapas Chef to join the established experienced team at Dida's Wine Lounge.

Experience is essential, with 100's of customers a day. Specific product training is provided. Excellent career development, as well as the opportunity to use your own flair and innovation, is possible for the right person.

The position is full time and includes weekends. We are open midday until 11pm.

The ideal candidate will:

• have experience in a busy kitchen environment;
• have flexibility with hours as some weekend shifts are required (rotational basis);
• have enthusiasm and the desire to work in a small, busy kitchen with a friendly environment;
• be willing to work as a team player as well as be responsible for your own section;
• maintain cleaning and hygiene requirements to the highest standards.
• Honest, reliable and take pride in their work 
• enjoy great food, take pride in preparing it and be looking for a career in the hospitality industry

Remuneration is an hourly rate, excellent training is provided with regular reviews. Additional staff benefits include a staff purchasing card at Glengarry and Didas as well as the opportunity to attend Tastings and events.
