Supervisor Passenger Services - Overnight Nature

Are you warm, welcoming and have experience when it comes to leading a team? We are looking for a skilled supervisor to lead the team on board the Mariner in the moody yet magical Milford Sound. This is a varied position including everything from food preparation to swimming and leading kayaking trips within in the fiord!

As the Supervisor of Passenger Services on the Mariner you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the overnight cruise as well as up to two nature cruises during the day. This is a demanding position where you will be constantly on the go with your teammates. We are looking for a people person with excellent attention to detail, proven leadership skills and confidence in communicating with both your team and with people from all over the world.

This is a fixed term, full-time position starting September, 2018 until mid-May 2019. Your typical shift would start Thursday morning, and finish the following Thursday morning and you would be based on board the vessel for your days on; with your own accommodation and all meals provided. This 7 days on - 7days off roster gives you an amazing opportunity to be exploring your backyard over the warmer months.

You will work alongside the crew performing a variety of different duties including servicing cabins, training crew, assisting in the galley preparing food and instructing and guiding guests in outdoor adventure activities. Along with these crew duties you will oversee the smooth running of the overnight vessel which will include; ordering stores, ensuring that the vessel is presented to the highest standard and most importantly leading the team.

You will be someone who is a strong team player, has great communication skills and doesn't mind getting stuck in and doing what is required to ensure the most remarkable experience for everyone onboard.
