Millennium Hotel Queenstown is seeking to appoint an energetic and professional individual to join our front office team as a Night Manager.  The position will involve working night shifts within the hours of 10.30pm – 7.30am and include weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Promote positive guest experiences by dealing with guests' enquiries throughout the night
• Reviewing all daily sales transactions of front office and food and beverage outlets and recording any variances
• Complete hotel's daily banking
• Producing a number of revenue and tracking reports
• Ensuring the security and safety of the hotel at all times
• Managing hotel legal requirements
• Manage hotel throughout the night

Key Skills & Attributes

• Professional presentation and manner
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good computer literacy and telephone skills
• Experience of working in accounting or in a similar hotel front office role
• Experience with Opera PMS preferred
• Must have full  drivers license
• A current General Managers / LCQ qualification and First Aid certificate are advantageous
