- Monday – Friday - late morning to early evening shift
You will be a hands-on person that is self-motivated and capable of doing a variety of different tasks. We are happy to invest in you! We want you to take pride and care in your role. We are proud of our team, our product and our culture. This is an exciting role where we will train you to roast the best coffee around!
Based in our factory at Christchurch you will:
- Operate our coffee roasters and blend coffee to our custom recipes.
- Keep quality standards high and aim for continuous improvement
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Control and adjust machine settings
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Fill and report records of approved and defective units or final products
- Complete quality and production records in line with policy
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with team leaders and co-workers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Dispatch packing of outwards goods on occasion and other coffee manufacturing tasks.
You will showcase:
- An eye for details and the highest quality standards.
- A history of working in Coffee Industry (either in Manufacturing, Roasting or Barista)
- Fault finding and problem solving skills
- Ideally have an understanding of GMP
- Physical ability to undertake moderate lifting
- Basic to intermediate MS Office skills
- An upbeat positive attitude with a passion for all things coffee!
