About the business and the role

Miann is one of Aucklands premier dessert locations, with two stores located in the heart of Auckland City and a third site on its way early in the year. We are looking for an experienced Senior Waiter and Waiters and Barista to join our team and help us grow the business,

We are looking for professionals that love their jobs, loves hospitality and are passionate about what they do. With a strong background in busy patisserie and cafe controlling the flow of the guests visiting and dining in the venue. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Senior Waiter/Wait Staff

• To assist the Duty Manager, Assistant Manager and Restaurant Manager and where required and as directed.
• To set the back of house ready for service in the allocated time.
• A consistent high standard of customer service
• Knowledge of all menu items and drink lists 
• Contribute to the effective operation of the restaurant to a high standard

Barista

• Experience in busy cafe
• A passion for your craft
• able to work as part of a team in all areas

Skills and experience

• High level of customer service experience
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible in rotating roster.
• Ability to deliver food and beverage to agreed standards.
• Ability to prioritise work according to agreed targets and urgent demands.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to think laterally and make sound informed decision.
• comfortable under pressure
