We are seeking an experienced café all-rounder/ barista to work in our busy café at The Helicopter Line in Mount Cook.
The Helicopter Line is New Zealand’s leading helicopter operating company. All of our staff are focused on providing the best guest experience in a safe and enjoyable manner, and share a passion for showcasing this stunning landscape to our customers.
Our café is open for breakfast and lunch as well as coffee throughout the day. We are located at Glentanner Station which is at the head of Lake Pukaki, 20 mins before Mount Cook Village.
Key Requirements
- Great can-do attitude, especially under pressure
- Barista skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills
- General café duties such as customer service and cleaning
- New Zealand Citizens or valid work visas only

We have both permanent and fixed terms contracts available. Café hours are 08:30 -1700, (and 08:30 - 18:30 during the summer season). The position is full time, rostered 40 hours (5 days per week), weekend work may also be required.
