Are you looking to take customer service to new heights? How would you like to spend your day in one of Auckland’s most iconic tourist attractions?
We are currently looking to recruit Casual Commercial Hosts with a passion for retail and food & beverage to join our fantastic team at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Auckland.
About the Role
All of our roles are focused on ensuring that our guests are having the most amazing experiences, and here at Merlin we have a real focus on FUN!!
Our Commercial Hosts are the friendly welcoming faces working in our Café and retail shop teams. In the Café you are showing some flair making coffees for our wonderful guests or helping them pick out a treat to enjoy as they wander through the attraction. In the retail shop, Commercial Hosts put their merchandising abilities to the test; creating amazing displays and helping our visitors pick out that perfect souvenir to take home. Commercial Hosts may also find themselves working at the admissions area of the attraction and being that amazing first point of contact for Kelly Tarlton’s.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for customer service with a focus on fun. They will be proactive in their approach to customer service with a positive attitude towards interaction with our guests and upselling techniques. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but a desire to work in the hospitality or retail industry is essential. Excellent spoken English and presentation are all required, as well as a strong ability to upsell.
