We are looking for an experienced Recpetionist professional to join our Reservations Team handling bookings for this prestigious venue. Excellent career development awaits the right person in this exciting company.To be successful in this position we are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, strong computer abilities, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi task.

This role requires skills with managing supplier relationships and high standards of communication in English, both written and spoken.

• Taking reservations for the venue through the various channels by phone, email and online,
• Day to day tasks associated with admin, reservations requiring superior levels of attention to detail
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
• Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

Previous hotel experience in Front Office or a background in the travel industry is required and experience with the Opera Property Management System will be highly regarded.

This position is only available to those that are able to live and work in New Zealand.
