Our client is a highly regarded specialist practice specialising in women's health. They are based in Newmarket in modern premises and the small team of nurses are lovely. It is an extremely varied position which is challenging but definitely a change of pace if you are looking to move away from public.
Hours: This is a full-time role but there is an opportunity to negotiate reduced hours
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Streamline clinics, assisting doctors and specialists when required
- Management, mentoring and training of the nurse team
- Communication between doctors and patients
- Patient referrals to specialists and support services as required
- Purchasing of stock
- To maintain skills and education levels
- Reporting
- Ensure high levels of patient customer services are met
- Human resources and recruitment in relation to the nurse team
- Delegation of duties to the nurse team
We are looking for an experienced manager who is confident leading a team and taking charge of all nursing related responsibilities in the practice. You will have significant nursing experience preferably in a surgical environment but we would also be interested in speaking with nurse managers from other specialties.
