We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join their Christchurch based team.
You will be an experienced tax professional wanting to take the next step in your career with a leading brand.
This role requires someone who can assist the team in developing and delivering sound advice around end-to-end tax processes and NZ tax law.
About you
You will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a dynamic environment and demonstrate a high level of initiative. You will demonstrate capabilities in the following areas:
- 5 years+ work experience in a corporate tax advisory environment
- A professional qualification in law or accounting
- A strong understanding of end to end tax processes & the NZ tax environment
- Demonstrated understanding of NZ tax law
- Experience in Transaction Services, GST or any other corporate tax specialties would be beneficial
- Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results and driving high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.
- Applying knowledge of current and future tax legislation and understanding interaction across global tax functions, specifically in your areas of expertise.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to establish and maintain positive client relationships and be a proactive and results driven team player.
