Applications are invited for permanent position at Wairau Hospital, Blenheim, where you will work alongside a team of five SMO's and three FACEM's building an environment of excellence.
Wairau Hospital is a recent purpose built facility with 88 beds and has approximately 22,000 ED presentations a year and meets the Ministry target for 95% of patients discharged, admitted or transferred in under 6 hours.
The Hospital has all the major specialties with sub-specialties visiting on a routine basis from Nelson and Christchurch. A High Dependency Unit and Acute Assessment Unit are co-located with the ED, and the Radiology Department is right next door.
