Our client is on the look out for an experienced dental receptionist for a fixed term period to cover annual leave from the 27th of August to the 15th of October for 2 to 3 days per week. The practice is based in West Auckland and the hours would be between 8am to 5 / 6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting & greeting patients
  • Answereing
  • Being part of the team - using your initiative to help and assist the others
  • Reception duties (if required), answering phones, patiet callbacks, taking payments etc
  • Keep busy during the down time, to ensure the supplies room and drawers/ cupboards are re-stocked. Assist with re-ordering is necessary.
  • Ensuring the practice is clean & tidy at the end of the day

Skills & Experience

  • Proven New Zealand experience as a Dental Assistant and or Dental Receptionist
  • Answering of phone calls, taking payments, scheduling appointments for patients
  • Experience with Exact Dental Software
  • Awareness & diligence with infection control protocols
  • Solid Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
  • Pride in appearance, presentation and grooming

Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and have excellent grasp of the English language so you can communicate with the Dentist, colleagues and patients effectively.
