Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit - Te Awhina
Permanent, full time (40 hours per week)

A suitably qualified and experienced Day Services Coordinator is sought for Te Awhina acute mental health inpatient unit WDHB.

Our recovery based activity programmes serve an important purpose in facilitating the recovery of our service users/tangata whaiora back into the community. The successful applicant will manage and deliver these programs as part of a professional multidisciplinary team that is committed to the provision of quality specialised mental health nursing care and services for service users/tangata whaiora and their family.

We are searching for a therapy specialist who is motivated and innovative, with a ‘natural’ ability to build strong relationships and engage and work well with others.
An appropriate tertiary qualification and post graduate qualification is essential with previous experience in the delivery and management of therapy programs in a mental health setting highly desirable.
