Responsibilities:
As a Medacs Agency Healthcare Assistant working within the acute setting of the public or private Healthcare system you will be responsible for:
- Provide personal cares to patients
- Assistance with Activities of daily living - toileting, eating, drinking etc
- Catheter Cares
- Restocking linen and supplies
- Making beds and tidying patient rooms
- Assisting with patient transfers
Experience:
- Healthcare Assistant (Level 3 or Level 4) qualification with a minimum of 6 months recent experience
- 2nd or 3rd Year Nursing Student
- Overseas Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in a Nursing role.
- Able to nominate at least two senior references who you have recently worked
- MUST have right to work in New Zealand
