Dunedin Hospital
- Full-time Position – parental leave cover
Our Pharmacy Department at Dunedin Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic person to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. This is to cover a period of parental leave.
The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and includes all aspects of Hospital Pharmacy including; stock control, ward supply, in and out patient dispensing, general compounding and assisting in the general day to day running of the dispensary.
If you hold an appropriate New Zealand recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification or are committed to completing the appropriate training to become a qualified pharmacy technician we would love to hear from you.
Hospital experience is preferred although not essential. You will have excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, can perform in an accurate and precise manner, is a great team player, can demonstrate they are able to instil a positive team culture and works well in a diverse environment.
