Our client is a boutique Chartered Accounting practice with a clear vision, tight-knit family friendly culture and a modern approach to accounting and advisory. They are a firm that embraces technology and takes pride in delivering a service that aims to take a holistic view to their clients matters in order to provide meaningful advice beyond traditional tax compliance.
There are few firms that provide the breadth of advisory services as this practice and due to organic growth, a position has become available for an analytical Senior Accountant who enjoys engaging with a variety of clients, using their initiative and is capable of taking a ’big picture’ view. Working closely alongside the Director, you will be encouraged to partner with clients, build close professional relationships and take a vested interest in their success. There are opportunities internally for future advancement in due course and a variety of consulting work for you to sink your teeth into.
Key responsibilities for the role include;
- Meeting clients and managing correspondence
- Workflow management
- Reviewing outsourced compilation work
- Team leadership and development
- Advising clients on their systems and procedures
- Advise on client process improvement
- Assisting the Director with value-added projects
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a New Zealand Chartered Accounting firm
- Client management experience
- Strong tax knowledge
- Able to take a big picture approach to client matters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Timeliness, accuracy, responsibility, attention to detail
