Healthvision, an award winning provider of Specialist Homecare, Community Nursing and Rehabilitation services throughout New Zealand, is currently expanding its team for community based rehabilitation.

About the role:

Healthvision are looking for a Dietician, to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing community and clinic based rehabilitation programmes. The preferred candidate would have a special interest in a wide range of client types with serious injury SCI, TBI, Burns and complex poly trauma throughout NZ.

Healthvision are a leading specialised home care provider for complex and serious injury clients and we are on the cutting edge of rehabilitation new exciting technologies pushing the boundaries of conventional rehabilitation types.

Healthvision are working alongside ACC and MOH to assist in the redevelopment of healthcare and rehabilitation services to facilitate more effective / appropriate services to the client's needs. 

The ideal candidate will be available on a part time or contracting basis.

About you:

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years post graduate experience working with physical injury and have an understanding of acute (MOH) and community rehabilitation (ACC) services.

The successful applicant would need to be:

  • Highly self-motivated,
  • Have exceptional communication skills / report writing skills,
  • Have good time management skills,
  • To be able to work autonomy and part of a multidisciplinary team,
  • Manage and build strong working and therapeutic relationships with clients and providers,
  • Thrive on challenges and creative opportunities.         

An inclusive training schedule will be provided with ongoing education to complete specific evidence based reports and multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches.

Must be a registered Dietician with a current practicing certificate, have a full clean driving licence and have the ability to travel around the greater Auckland area.
