This boutique styled facility has a long history  in the city and is recognised for quality care. The facility has recently expanded and includes  the full range of care, rest home, dementia and hospital level. In addition there is a new village facility with18 apartments.

We are looking for a registered nurse with:

• A current practicing certificate
• Management experience is preferable
• A broad base of clinical experience
• Knowledge and interest in care of the elderly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The key requirements of the role require you to:

• To be a leader of healthcare and managing the clinical staff to deliver an excellent standard of nursing care to our residents.
• To  ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of care and service.
• To ensure that the needs of our residents and their families are met, using contemporary nursing care that is safe, appropriate and effective.
• To provide expert advice to staff on the development and implementation of care plans.
• To act as a resource person and fulfil an educative role in working with the staff of the facility.
• To be responsible for demonstrating continuous quality improvement in all aspects of care, service delivery, education and staff development.
