Summary
We’re looking for an inspirational leader to join our Auckland Real team as a Team Coach – Registered Health Professional. Your hours will be 8.30 – 5.00pm. You will be required to hold a full driver’s licence, and hold a current and valid professional registration with your regulatory body.

The Team and Service
Reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager, you’ll be leading a team of youth workers from Real Auckland’s residential services. The Real youth service in South Auckland provides a health and wellbeing short stay retreat in the community to young people aged between 14 and 22. We believe in the importance of community, connection and relationships – and in the ability of young people to shape their own futures. While you will have some regular tasks that you do each day, no two days will ever be the same! You’ll do whatever it takes to ensure your team and the services they look after, provide the best service they possibly can.
You
We are interested to hear from experienced leaders with a current NZ registration as either a nurse, social worker or an occupational therapist who has the ability to support and inspire a team. As well as having great leadership and people skills, you’ll also have demonstrated the ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.
You’ll also have:
- A current full New Zealand driver’s licence and hold a current first aid certificate
- Experience working with young people preferred
- You’re a great listener, the sort of person who will listen deeply to the people who use our services
- You’re energising, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
- You’re a communicator, the sort of positive person who loves supporting, coaching and mentoring your team
