Safe Network has a fantastic multi-disciplinary team providing specialist community-based services for people with concerning, problematic and harmful sexual behaviour. We have services for children from five years-old through to adults. This is a challenging and leading-edge area of work and if you are interested we would like to meet you..

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Conduct assessments and deliver interventions from a wider systemic and socio-ecological perspective
- Use your clinical expertise to provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual, group and family work

Skills and experience
You will need to:
- Have a tertiary-level therapeutic qualification with NZ registration or eligibility for practice in NZ.
- Have at least two years' experience as a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist involving work with behavioural problems.
- Be able to provide high quality evidence-based assessments and interventions for children, adolescents and adults
- Possess good communication skills and networking skills.
- Be motivated and client focussed.
- Show integrity and strong relationship building skills.
- Have experience in working as part of a therapy team.
Ideally you would also:
- Have skills and experience in working with Maori and/or Pasifika clients and clinical frameworks
- Be eligible for registration with ACC to provide Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC)
- Have experience with assessment and intervention for concerning or harmful sexual behaviours and/or family violence.
