We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to join our Wellington team based on the Kapiti coast. Kapiti boasts 40kms of unspoilt beaches and friendly people – the perfect place to enjoy real kiwi experiences. An hour north of Wellington, Kapiti is easy to get to on the Wellington rail network, or State highway 1.
This varied role involves conducting ultrasound examinations in accordance with Pacific Radiology’s high standards and within agreed ASUM/ASA guidelines. Patient data and examination worksheets are completed within Kailo systems. When required you will also be asked to assist with the training of student sonographers. You must also be able to demonstrate your caring, polite and efficient manner and exceptional communication standards when dealing with our patients.
Applicants must have a professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and current New Zealand annual practising certificate from MRTB. All applicants must have a valid New Zealand work permit.
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)
