This leading tertiary Hospital is one of New Zealand's largest tertiary hospital and is renowned for its teaching and research opportunities.
The Child Psychiatrist contributes to the professional development and supervision of the supportive team of Registrars, House Officers and Students.
The Child and Family Unit and adolescent mental health inpatient unit working with young people from 0 – 18 years old and their families
Roles do not come up often for SMO in this great service.
We are looking for someone who is already registered or eligible for Vocational or provisional Vocational registration
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience and qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- 5 years clinical practice in Mental Health
- Commitment for biocultural practice
- Sound understanding and commitment to recovery principals
- High standard of verbal and written communication
- PC literacy
- FRANZCP or Equivalent
