0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight)
An opportunity has arisen within the Western Bay of Plenty for two experienced Registered Health Professionals with a minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience in addiction and/or community mental health. Registered Nurses must have a Scope of Practice which includes Mental Health. This position is to work within the Bay of Plenty Addiction Service, specifically within the Alcohol and other Drug Team. This position is based in Tauranga.
The applicant will be able to work both independently and as a team member and it is an expectation that the applicant be competent in all facets of case management, including comprehensive risk assessments, and mental status examination. It is also expected that you would have excellent interpersonal skills and have a strong client focus; maintaining cultural awareness, and safe practice.
